I N S T A X //  What do i love most about them? Well, duh! They are instantly tangible and the memory is right there in your hand! I put all of mine in a shoebox and collect memories this way. I fear that someday all of this crazy technology will fail and I will loose every Facebook image, website portfolio, Instagram, etc...but my instax will all still be in their shoebox {unless my house burns down.} I try to label each one with a date & descprition too. My mom obviously used film when I was growing up, and she still has boxes full of photographs that I love to look through. I think this has a lot to do with why I became a photographer..those photo albums & boxes my mom showed me growing up made me feel giddy everytime I opened one up. :)  I want to be able to have a box of old photographs to show Logan & Noah when they are older.   Not only as a photographer, but as a mother I think its *so* important to print your photos. I know we live in a digital world and whatever but, #printsoverpixels y'all. It's like vinyl...who needs an old record player & records when they can just put music on their phone? Because It's just better! The experience, the feeling, the sound, whatever it is...it's just BETTER.   I also love to display all of my photographs around my house! This is a wedding present that my sweet friends at LytleFoto gave me and It is now hanging in my office. I use it for my polariod photos! Not all of them make it into the shoebox. ;)

If you don't want to spend the money to take film photographs, just print your digital files. Hang them up in your home! People want to see your life when they come into your house! It tells a story, its a gallery of YOUR life. It will make you happy too, I promise! :)
